A little more about me

Hello there, thanks for visiting my website and taking the time to learn more about me.

I’m Kristina – an eye for detail, an ear for languages and a heart for what I do.

In 2013, I left Austria behind and swapped the mountains for the sea in Scotland. Since then, people have been having a hard time placing my accent, as apparently, the combination of an Austrian and a Scottish accent makes me sound Irish. And that’s not the only change my new home has brought: I now consider queue-jumping a crime and believe that tea can solve problems. Us Austrians are generally quite relaxed and balanced though, and I am lucky enough to also have German roots that keep my efficiency and motivation levels high.

Since 2017, I have held an MA (Hons) degree in Translation studies and in my spare time I enjoy developing my skills and expanding my knowledge in my industries of specialisation – the most recent online classes I have taken are Marketing Fundamentals and Language and Creativity. Besides translation and language, I also have a passion for travelling, writing and all things creative.
